Wedding Details

Incorporating fun wedding details that are special to you is a great way to personalize your event. This bike that held gifts and well wishes belongs to one of our past brides. Her and her now hubby love to ride bikes. This was a creative way to include one of their personal hobbies into their special day. The entire wedding had whimsical details that fit our couple perfectly. Sometimes the most subtle displays can make a grand impact, and we always love infusing elements that compliment our client’s theme or wedding decor.

Wedding Shoes | Alice and Olivia

Sparkly wedding shoes…who doesn’t love them??!!! Ever wondered what Dorothy felt like wearing those red glitter shoes? Why wonder when you can have the real thing.

Last year we had a fun time designing a confetti-themed wedding for one of our clients. These Alice and Olivia pumps were worn by our bride, and they provided the perfect touch of whimsy and glam to compliment her wedding decor. It was subtle way to incorporate something sparkly into her personal bridal style.

Whatever your style may be, have fun with it! We love it when our brides purchase colored or sparkly shoes. While no one else may notice them, we think they make for a great detail and added personal touch on your wedding day.

Throwback Thursday | Indian Weddings

Indian Weddings! Oh how we love them. These multi-day celebrations are rich in color and filled with exquisite decor, intricate henna designs, lavish Indian wedding garb and lots of yummy food.  This throwback Thursday image is from on of our very first Indian Weddings we planned and designed 8 yrs ago at Trentadue Winery in Geyserville, CA.

While I admit that we were a bit inexperienced at the time when it came to Indian weddings, we worked a total of 14 + hours on the day of in 103 degree weather to execute this grand affair. It definitely prepared us for future Indian weddings, and now we can proudly say we have planned + designed a myriad of multi-cultural weddings and are very knowledgeable in Sikh and Hindu traditions.

Let us help you plan your Indian wedding!

Throwback Thursday | Rustic Charm Styled Shoot

This Rustic Charm Styled Shoot was designed a few years back for Today’s Bride SF Magazine. Before rustic weddings became a trend, we were dreaming of soft and pretty flowers, such as peonies and ranunculus beautifully arranged in a wooden container for this particular shoot.

The challenge was to create two versions of this table, one lovely and one lavish. Our lovely table consisted of sweet and simple details that would be relatively cost effective to implement into your wedding design, while our lavish display was just that, lavish, for those couples willing to splurge a bit. The image above is of our lovely table, and we still LOVE it after all of these years.

While most of the rustic weddings you see now in days contain decor that has been overly used, such as the infamous mason jar, something about sweet fresh florals in shades of orange, green and white paired with wooden elements never goes out of style.

Unique Ballroom Ideas

Looking for unique ballroom ideas? A tropical setting within a ballroom = totally doable. This was a wedding we designed a few years back paying homage to the groom’s Puerto Rican roots. By infusing a hint of island flair, we created a tropical, yet sophisticated and elegant wedding for our lovely couple.

When creating a theme or selecting decor for your wedding or special event, don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Often times we get couples who select a venue because they simply fall in love with it, but their theme/decor may not necessarily fit the space. This wedding is living proof that an outdoor setting can be brought indoor, with the right elements and decor. We are always up for the challenge and believe in creating extraordinary events in ordinary spaces!

Cotton Candy Station

Adding a little something fun and sweet to your wedding or special event, is always a good idea! This cotton candy station was part of a cirque du soleil inspired lounge for one of our past clients. Betty Zlatchin Catering also served-up some deliciously amazing mini desserts that included; pot de creme, ice cream sandwiches and a chocolate shake in a shot glass. When creating a dessert display, have fun with it!
